NEW SRLD Rescuer Device Approved by NIOSH and MSHA (Approval # TC‐13F‐0645) - July 26, 2011
July 26, 2011 – The brand new Self‐Rescuer Long Duration (SRLD) developed by CSE Corporation, one of the leading manufacturers of mining rescue respirator products in the world, was approved on Friday, July 22 in a joint approval by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), company officials announced today.

February 1, 2011 – CSE Corporation, one of the leading manufacturers of mining rescue respirator products in the world, announced the introduction of the Self-Rescuer Long Duration (SRLD) today. The introduction of the SRLD follows extensive efforts by CSE to incorporate customer feedback on respirator products, as well as advanced technological improvements for miner safety.
SR-100 User Notice (Updated) - January 14, 2011
January 14, 2011 – CSE has continued to investigate SR-100 units with top and bottom covers that may be difficult to remove as NIOSH reported to users in the November 5, 2010 notice. As a result of this continuing investigation and to provide for our customer’s ease in removing covers on SR-100 units in the event of an emergency, CSE is offering to refit all SR-100 units that were manufactured between October 2008 and December 2008.
