90-Day Inspection

Mine operators must inspect every SCSR four times a year. This segment demonstrates each step in the 90-day inspection process, including visual inspection, field-testing with the CSE acoustic solids movement detector (ASMD), and checking the ASMD’s calibration by using the CSE Spot Checker. Applies to both SR-100 and SRLD models. (13:15)

Self-Rescuer Long Duration (SRLD)

The new SRLD Self-Contained Self-Rescuer (SCSR) offers a 40 percent faster production of oxygen at the start up, as well as a 10 percent total increase in oxygen production.
