Changeover

The time it takes to escape may exceed the duration of the SCSR you first donned in an emergency. If it does, you’ll need to change over to a spare unit while the surrounding air is still unsafe to breathe. Self-Rescuer Long Duration (SRLD)

The new SRLD Self-Contained Self-Rescuer (SCSR) offers a 40 percent faster production of oxygen at the start up, as well as a 10 percent total increase in oxygen production.
